Title: Final MICRODIS Steering Committee Meeting Location: Delhi, India Date-Start: December 2, 2010 Description: This will be the last meeting for the MICRODIS partners in the duration of the project. Title: Health Working Group Meeting Location: Orissa, India Date-Start: May 22, 2009 Description: Health Working Group members met together to discuss the standard coding for the health impacts assessment protocol and other issues such as standard report writing, publications and data merging. Title: MICRODIS Second Annual Meeting Location: Brussels, Belgium Date-Start: February 25, 2009 Description: The MICRODIS Consortium will meet to discuss the progress from the 2nd year of the project and map out the future tasks for the year to come. All consortium members will be represented, along with EC officials, member of the Scientific Advisory Committee and members of related scientific projects. This 3 day meeting will include thematic meetings, opening ceremonies, scientific results and preparation presentations, a steering committee meeting, and planning for the third year of the project. Title: Training Workshop for Survey Coordinators Location: Hanoi, Viet Nam Date-Start: May 19, 2008 Description: The Principle Investigators of each survey site met for a week-long training session based on the planned empirical work in the project. Methods and tools which are to be used in each site were discussed, along with guidelines and coding. Questionnaires were reviewed and modified in thematic and mixed thematic groups, and some standard definitions were discussed. Sampling methods and other techniques were presented. Training on EpiInfo software was also given on the last day. Title: MICRODIS Official Launch Location: Delhi, India Date-Start: February 21, 2008 Description: This event was the official media launch of the MICRODIS project, with many invited dignitaries and media sources attending. Title: MICRODIS First Annual Meeting Location: Delhi, India Date-Start: February 17, 2008 Description: MICRODIS partners came together in Delhi to review the first years achievements and challenges faced by the thematic groups and country teams. Thematic groups met together to review their questionnaire tool and other issues. Potential survey sites were presented to the plenary, and thematic groups assessed the sites on the impact relavence to their disciplines. Expected outcomes and responsibilities for the next phase of the project were discussed and a steering committee meeting was held.
